Thorough Inspections

Sebago Inspections provides comprehensive support for both current homeowners and prospective buyers. We also offer advanced thermal imaging for leaks, well water testing, and routine annual maintenance to keep your property in peak condition.

One thing to always remember about any home inspection... it took dozens of workers several months to build your home. A home inspector must try and identify any major problems in just 2 to 4 hours onsite. Inspectors train specifically to do this and add it to whatever life skills they bring to the job.

Maybe your inspector was a carpenter and had to learn about plumbing and electrical. Maybe they were an electrician and needed to learn about roofs and foundations.

InterNACHI Certified Home Inspectors must complete a lengthy training program in combination with rigorous testing to gain certification. At a minimum, each inspector must take over 800 continuing education hours of instruction by the end of their first year. Inspectors with little experience will have to do most of that before they can be certified, more experienced inspectors may be certified and take courses after they are certified.
